Digital platform offering waste disposal services without leaving home, enhanced with user accounts addressed for individual and corporate Clients.
The whole idea of the project is to provide quick and simple access for individual and corporate Client to the platform that offers various recycling services. The major assumption for the project is that there won't be a dedicated mobile app. The entire web service puts on a mobile first approach and full RWD design. Along with that, site must offer a user account with a personalized profile connected to quick orders and payment methods. Also there will be possibility to manage your orders in real time and ongoing cost monitoring option.
I'm beginning to work on a new project, my stakeholder gave me the demands from his business side, but I need to get to know the market. To gather initial data for the whole project, I'm preparing simple key values, criteria, and a competition board to know where to focus my efforts in the next phases. It's time to start some research work, know the competition, and define key values in this kind of business.
To deliver the best value, you must understand how the market works. The best way to do that is to analyze the competition's offers and solutions. I'm preparing a matrix to compare other players in the business and evaluate their offer, taking into account four criteria.
After this step, I'm preparing a strengths and weaknesses comparison chart to extract vital data from the analysis.
The final step is to define what trends have the most valuable functionality and to prepare an inspiration list that helps me collect trendy solutions from the market.
Now it's time to arrange some audit activities using cognitive diagrams and the Nielsen Heuretics method. This audit provides important feedback and creates the first step in planning service architecture.
It's time to prepare questions to ask in the interview with stakeholders and users. The main part of UX research is asking the right questions to obtain priceless feedback. It's good to know better about preferences, demands, behavior, and other user activities.
It is crucial to define and select a target user group, to identify the needs of individual persons. I'm using persons as actors who are playing a particular role in defined scenarios, which helps to get a wider context, a another perspective, and a better understanding of the particular situation.
Now it is time to obtain vital data and information from my actors, I'm gathering all informations on the common backlog. To gather all expectations, I’m using the methods of interviews, quizzes, simple tests, and user behavior monitoring on similar services. That helps me to define and focus on important values for each side's expectations and desires. At the end, it will affect the final shape of the app.
Ok, now when I've gathered all the necessary data, organized my backlog, it is time to start to plan and create a basic sitemap. At this stage, I'm planning how Clients are going to use the app and how business processes will flow, those input data are application basis.
For me personally, prototype is the most important phase of the project, now I can get a lot of valuable feedback from stakeholders. Also for me it's a test how result of my work will be received. As a base and outcome of my analysis, research, and concept, I'm implementing the graphical side, building value that will be presented to all stakeholders. That's why the previous steps are so significant and have a direct impact on the prototype.
Dear user this project is still ongoing and next phase will be added as soon as possibile.
